Best Thing EVER… Preschool
That obnoxious noise in the background is one very exhausted 3-year-old.

It was Julie’s first day of Preschool!
See that devilish look on her face? Yeah, that’s what we call her “Julie Face”. She just loves to do that when someone snaps her picture.
While I have the utmost respect for parents who homeschool, I just don’t think I could do it. I am, by nature, a bit of a recluse (not to be mistaken with Brown Recluse… yeah, we have those here, too), and it is very difficult for me to get out of the house.
Plus, Julie was just so freaking excited about going to school that I couldn’t take that away from her.

She loved it, and didn’t want to leave when I showed up at noon to pick her up.
I am so proud of my little stinker. Even if she did come home tired and a little bratty.
And as a side note… it was really great to have a quiet house for four hours. I actually slept in a little. *smile*

With homeschooled people that I’ve known, I’ve noticed that homeschooling breeds socially inept little weirdos that don’t know how to interact outside of their family unit. Glad you’re sending them to school. And congratulations on having the house (almost) to yourself!
