Likes and Dislikes

Traits and cool stuff I like in people:

  • Dry and/or quirky humor
  • Honesty
  • An open mind
  • Calling out bullshit, but not offensively, and being able to back up your claim with an educated reason
  • Accepting and admitting when you have faulted
  • Being able to take it if you dish it
  • The ability to cuss and look angelic at the same time (how do you do that?)
  • Saying what you really think and feel rather than plastering a smile on your face and pretending
  • Being realistic
  • Having faults and embracing the fact that you are human

Traits and other shit I don’t like in people:

  • Cattiness
  • Being a hypocrite
  • Lying
  • Being a passive-aggressive, manipulative asshole
  • The inability to respect differences
  • Two-faced bastards
  • Ass-kissers
  • Defensiveness
  • Thinking you are perfect

We all possess varying degrees of both sides of the fence at one moment or another, and we are all allowed to make mistakes.  However, it is when the crappy things outweigh the positive traits in a particular person on a regular basis that I start looking for a way to avoid them.

Hopefully, my own personality falls more within the traits I like.  Hell, I think I do, but it’s hard to see yourself from a third-person perspective.  Call me out on it if you think it needs to be done.

What do you like and dislike about people?

I hate ass-kissers too. My husband works with a lot of them. Oh, and do you know what happened to our facebook group? Apparently, we’ve ‘gone to hell’ now. I think I missed something…

you do realize that i am, in fact, perfect… right? so are my kids. i only hang out with other perfect people, in our perfect world. *don’t hate me because i’m perfect*

    HA.

i like people that make me think. i like people that show me a completely different perspective, and don’t look down on others just because they’re different.

that’s all i got for now, and i think you probably said that same thing, but worded it differently. i’m just too damn tired to think right now.
