Look Ma! No Helmet!
April came home from her appointment yesterday morning sans helmet:

Her head, which used to be 14mm asymmetrical, is now about as close to perfect as one’s head can get… only off by 2mm, with 3mm being completely normal. In other words, her treatment for the moderate-to-severe positional plagiocephaly was a success!

It was so great to see my little monster standing in her crib grinning without her helmet on this morning. I love her precious little head and the way her hair falls into her eyes. One of those things that drives my mother completely bonkers, but I just think she looks so freaking adorable with that beautiful dark hair falling naturally.

These are the prints from her initial scan done back in May (top) and her final one from yesterday. There are a couple spots on her head that haven’t filled in completely, but they should round out more as she continues to grow, even without her helmet.
Doesn’t she just look so unbelievably precious?

It kind of makes me forgive her for trying to eat my nipple and screaming louder than a wild banshee. Awwwww.

You and your husband should NEVER stop making babies. You children are absolutely gorgeous. Those big brown eyes! They make my heart melt!!
And my mom hates that Roree’s hair falls in her eyes too. But I find it endearing. (Which is good, because she actually pulls it in front of her eyes.

“You and your husband should NEVER stop making babies.”
That’s probably the scariest thing I’ve read all day. But I get what you mean. Glad you think they’re beautiful!
