Reading your article was like looking into a mirror. I could really identify with your need to put others first. I have also struggled with that. I have slowly started putting one foot in front of the other declaring my needs along the way. It is very easy to stand still and forget who we are deep down.
Congrats on getting the article published. I can’t wait to read your next one.

Great article, Tamra. We too did the counseling thing and while some of it was so cliche and cheesy some of it stays with me to this day. For instance, the need to “renegotiate” your marriage from time to time–state what you want, need, do not want, hope for, etc. Situations change and so do we so we should let others know!
