Good News

We found a home for our dogs.

A really nice lady came to meet them yesterday evening, and she ended up bringing both of them home instead of just one of them.

And guess what?  She wasn’t weird.  She used to run a rescue shelter, so she’s a huge animal lover.  She has a doggie door, so they’ll be able to come in and out as they please.  And she has a few other dogs, so they will have some built-in friends.

Thank God.  I felt so sick having to find my babies a new home, and I am just so relieved that not only did we find them a loving puppy mama, but they get to stay together.

I miss them.

    I’m sorry you had to give them up but at least they are with a loving family.

    My dogs went to live with my sister this spring after their constant escaping led them to be arrested and sent to doggy jail. Chance wasn’t up for paying the $600 fine the animal control officer was trying to charge so my sister just went to the pound and adpoted them, sans fines. So, now they have a great home and I can see them whenever I want!

    So, basically, what I’m saying is I know the feeling, but at least you know they are with good people! : )

    Hurray!!! She sounds like a good fit for them! So sorry you had to give them up though, I can’t imagine how hard that must’ve been :(
