A Taste Of Home

Apparently, the sun jumped into my luggage to join me in Seattle.  It’s been warm and sunny every day since I arrived, and next week promises the same sort of forecast.

It’s funny how I constantly heard about how dreary the weather was in Washington when we used to live there while I was growing up, even during the summer.  Yet every time I’ve been here since, the sun’s been out to greet me.

Except there’s one major difference:  it’s not 105 degrees and dry as a bone.  In fact, I’ve actully been enjoying the sunshine for a change, which is really cool.  For once, I’m not bitching about it.  Yet.

I know, I know.  Come winter time, I’m going to be whining about how I haven’t seen that bright, obnoxious orb for months on end and wishing it’d pop out long enough to thaw my frozen toes.

You can say I told you so later.  I won’t bite if you do.

Well, you won’t bite hard ;-P its raining here tonight. I bet you’ll be rubbing it in next summer when were all dying and you’re enjoying your weather. And you will get a little breakb from it this winter.
