I Pulled Out My Camera, Finally

I was in a really wonderful (read: completely bitchy) mood today, so Kathryn and I decided to spend a little time getting some fresh air at Kubota Gardens with the girls.

We were trying to get a couple good shots of Kath to send to her fiance, Scotty, who is currently about a month into Boot Camp.

Although getting Julie to look at the camera is like forcing a puppy to sit still… it just doesn’t hardly ever happen.

However, April loves the camera, except most shots I get of her are in the shadow because she won’t look up if her little face is in the sun.  I don’t blame her.

And I really like this picture, but Kath doesn’t want to send it to her man.  I think she looks really pretty, but I think she thinks she looks too happy or something.  Like she’s supposed to be all emo and shit since she’s been sex-deprived for a month. Oops, I mean, she’s a good Catholic school girl.  No premarital sex for her.  *cough*

What do you think?  Should we send it, too?

    Of course, you should send it – send them all. Scotty will love all the beautiful pictures of Kathryn. Send the ones of the girls, too – he loves them, too.

    Also, missing Scotty and being happy are not mutually exclusive. Even though one misses one’s fiance (or whoever) when they’re away, that doesn’t mean that one cannot enjoy a full, happy life as a whole and complete individual in their absence. And as far as the person who is away goes, anyone that wants their significant other to be anything other than happy and complete is probably not someone you really want to be planning any kind of future with.
