Throwing Myself Out There For Criticism
If you’d like to see why I never get enough sleep or why I complain about my battered feet all the time, here you go:
Some video taken after a late-night dance last week of a friend and me doing West Coast Swing, a.k.a. my passion.
It’s a completely unrehearsed, totally led/followed, ad-lib dance, and it wasn’t part of a performance of any kind. Just a regular, relaxed social dance. The song is “After Dark” by Tito and Tarantula. I really like this video because it’s one of the first times I’ve been able to watch myself groove on the dance floor and haven’t been cringing the whole time.
Yes, this is what I spend all my extra time doing. I’m what is known as a “Dance-o-holic”. I just can’t get enough.
And last night I was basically offered a job as a local independent instructor through a downtown studio. Wow.
