Some Christmas Cheer On New Year’s Day
Having my family visit for Christmas was absolutely wonderful. The girls loved seeing everyone, and James and I really enjoyed having a houseful.
And while I was really enjoying playing with my camera on Christmas morning, I can’t say the entire family was pleased to have my Nikon D40 shoved into their faces before they finished their coffee. I love that pic because you can just hear my sister saying, “What the fuck do you think you’re doing?“.
The girls both got a new bike from their grandparents along with a multitude of other goodies.
Yes, I got my 3.5-year-old eyeshadow. If you saw the mess she makes out of mommy’s makeup even though I hide it from her, you’d understand why I was feeding her girly-girl habits at such a young age.
Besides my badass boots and seeing everyone for the holidays, my favorite gift was a monkey case for Ralph from James. It matches my iPhone cover.
Yes, those are my cute, dorky pajamas from Target. You know you’re jealous.
In all, it was a great Christmas. Hope yours was just as wonderful!
