Things That Drive Me To Insanity
In case you’re ever wondering what drove me to lose my mind in the first place, I’ve conjured up a little list to help clarify.
- Being cut off while I’m trying to explain myself, especially during an argument.
- When someone repeats themselves OVER AND OVER AND OVER.
- People who think they’re always right no matter what.
- Liars
- When my kids perform stunts fit for the circus as I’m running towards them and screaming, “STOP!”.
- Adult babies
- Racist shitheads. Period.
- Being laughed at when I’m pissed off.
- Slow drivers in the left lane.
- Fuckers that take advantage of my doormat status.
- Know-it-alls
- People who constantly post extremist political propaganda all over their facebook page, which ultimately ends up all over my newsfeed (and yes, I know I can block them, but it doesn’t make it any less annoying).
- Dumbasses who play games because they’re too chicken to speak up.
- Being treated as if I don’t exist.
And oh, the lists I could create if I had all day.
What drives you into a straight jacket?

#12 has been pissing me off this week too. I’ve hid the people that did it, but I’m not exactly shy about my feelings on subjects like gay marriage, abortion, etc. Why the fuck someone would invite me to a ’straight pride’ group is beyond me. Why a German citizen is taking polls about whether or not gay marriage should be legalized in the U.S. and then commenting on it, is even further beyond me. Check my status from last night. I was pretty damned irritated.

Good idea for a blog entry — your list definitely drives me insane too!

1.) Um people who empathize by saying “I know how you feel” and then go on to explain a story that has nothing to do with how you feel at the time and because no they don’t know exactly how I feel.
2.) The current question that I get asked a lot right now “So what now?”.
3.) When some one cuts me off while driving.
4.) People who act like they know it all and that I know nothing and/or look down on me for no apparent reason.
I think that’s it for now.

1.) Being told “What is your problem? We have it really good right now.” No shit asshole, it’s called a chemical imbalance for a reason.
2.) The teacher who is testing us on stuff not available from the reading in our book.
3.) #12 as mentioned above.
4.) Tucson drivers.
5.) The statement “you know what you need to do, you just need to do it.” See #1 for reference.
6.) Being talked about as if I’m not there.
That’s all that I can think of for now.
