- I broke my best friend’s pinky toe when I first met her. I barely knew her, but we’ve been close friends ever since.
- Her toe is still roughly twice the size of the one on the other side. We call it her “Tamra Toe.” I occasionally hear updates on how Tamra Toe is looking a little wonky in a particular pair of sandals.
- I like snakes. If I owned one, I’d probably call it “Ted.”
- I’m flattered when people talk shit about me. That means I’m an important enough part of their life that they’re wasting time thinking about me.
- I’m obsessed with monkeys. Particularly, the Paul Frank one.
- I get excited every time I see a UPS or FedEx truck in my neighborhood. And, just like a silly puppy, I stand at my front window and excitedly bounce when they stop in front of my house.
- I don’t care that Whitney Houston died, except that I do feel sorry for her family and friends. I am much more concerned and heartbroken for the heroes that die for our country and for the kids starving and dying by the millions all over this world.
- I am angry at the church, once again. My heart breaks for the poor children and vulnerable adults who are victims of rape and incest and are being told by the Catholic church that abortion is not an option. Here, let me abuse you, fuck you, let the world point fingers and call you a 15-year-old pregnant whore, and tell you what to do with YOUR body. Then tell me that my choice to ruin your life was a blessing for which you should be grateful.
- I recently saw Young the Giant in person at a private concert (yes, private concert… I’m spoiled). I was front center, leaning on the stage! They were incredible!
- I don’t miss dancing at all, and my feet feel great!
- My sister’s sweet lump of a shih tzu doggie crossed over rainbow bridge yesterday. *sad face*
- I finally learned how to paint my nails. Check out my latest creation! (Sorry for the crappy quality of the pictures. The lighting was dim and I was too lazy to dig out my camera… but you get the idea.)

Scotty got so excited about the UPS guy arriving today that he ran out to meet him on the sidewalk and told him, “I’m so excited!” Seriously, what a dork.

i do the same thing with the UPS truck, although most of the time it’s just car parts or fish tank pieces that are being delivered. (ie, not for me)
your nails are gorgeous. i’m jealous.
i have never been to a concert.
it makes me sad when pets die. :*-(
i don’t really care all that much about Whitney Houston either, outside of the fact that i find it sad when anyone dies, because i feel terrible for the people they left behind.

1/2. The toe is still deformed, although with my knee issues, it is the least of my worries.
5. I bought Rowan a Paul Frank monkey that plays music the other day. He loves it.
6. I have to scale the couch to get to the front door. We have Rowan blocked from behind the couches.
7. I couldn’t agree more. I don’t get excited when celebrities die. What do you expect when people do drugs?
8. My friend’s daughter was at youth group at a new church last week, and the preacher was talking about teen mothers being whores. This little girl was a product of a monogamous teen pregnancy, and she knows it. Churches don’t seem to know shit.

Your nails look great, I can do my toes most of the time but my fingernails generally turn out looking like crap.
I second what Nobody said its really sad when pets die.
